An unusual assignment
Twin Technologies was an unusual project -- the CEO had already commissioned a redesign but was unhappy with the design comps he received. Naturally, this late in the game, time and cost-containment were paramount. Our first task was to read and synthesize the project background information, which included wireframes, strategic and brand documents, and all the work submitted by the first designer. We wrote a new creative brief summarizing key points and our understanding of the website's purpose and goals.
Concept 1
Once the creative brief was approved we began work on the home page, creating three distinct concepts that expressed different aspects of the company's tagline: "Dream. Create. Deliver." Concept 1 expressed the first word in the tagline -- focusing on the firm's strategic and conceptual strengths.
Concept 2
Concept 2 illustrated the transformative process of creation. The "hero" image at the top rotates through the four key industries the firm supports.
A successful approach
In Concept 3 we went for a harder-edged, results-oriented feel to illustrate the concept of "Delivery." Showing three such distinct designs gave the CEO enough choices he was able to pick concept 1 with virtually no alterations. We created a subpage template based on that design as well as a style guide for the developers.
