Kids' Extravalooza
We had a blast designing this popup invitation for the inaugural Kids' Extravalooza event. The invitation's bright colors and modular icons were used in the event signage and decorations to create a truly memorable experience for the 1,300 guests and their parents.
Annual reports<
Now reimagined as the National Children’s Museum, the original museum had a low-tech, home-grown feel that kids loved because it was all about imagination, not slickly packaged “fun.” Our reports tried to convey what the museum experience was like from the “kid’s-eye” view.
Inside the reports
Using a combination of archived and commissioned photography of real school-aged visitors as well as hand-drawn elements, our design invokes the power of imagination and the freedom of childhood.
Second report
Our second report celebrated the museum's twenty-fifth anniversary. We kept the same dimensions and overall feel, but gave the report a more modular design to accommodate the retrospective copy and images.
Information design
We never treat tables and graphs like an afterthought. Even a couple of simple pie charts can be made as charming and eye-catching as the rest of the report.
